This is a standard convection oven that has been optimized for use as a reflow oven and work in conjunction with the
Reflower oven controller. It is sold in combination with the Reflower oven controller only. We cannot sell it separately. Convection oven model may vary depending on availability.
The modified oven has a layer of fiberglass insulation wrapped around the oven chamber and a fiberglass seal on the door to keep the heat in. It also has a seperate power cord added for the convection fan so it runs all the time, not just when the Reflower is powering the heating elements. The Reflower's thermocouple wire is brought in through the rear of the oven to make it more convenient to position on the PCB and reduce heat loss over bringing it in though the door seal. . Taken together these modifications transform an ordinary counter top convection oven into the ideal low cost reflow oven to accompany the Reflower. This oven will easily generate temperatures high enough to reflow with no-lead paste.
