0805 Resistor Kit 10-91 Ohm
There are a lot of component assortments out there. We looked at them all and found that for most users and applications they were overkill in the number of values which only serves to drive up the cost and you run out of a common value after about 10 uses and still have thousands of (useless) resistors left over.
Unless you are doing a lot of analog design, you need a handful of values at most. You will need pull-ups, pull-downs, LED current limiting resistors and perhaps a few specialized values for voltage dividers. And let's face it - based on the kids coming though our intern program in EE, Analog design simply isn't emphasized much. They will throw a DSP at a 1 pole filter problem given the chance.
Our assortment tries to balance the quantity and usefulness of the values provided. We sell them in 1 decade kits so you control the values you need and don't wind up with a lot of useless parts. All of out kits provide 25 Pieces each of 9 different values per decade. The values are based on 1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.7, 5.6, 6.8, 7.5, 8.2, and 9.1 multipliers.
This kit is for the 10-91 Ohm decade and includes the following: 25ea 10 Ω
- 25ea 22 Ω
- 25ea 33 Ω
- 25ea 47 Ω
- 25ea 56 Ω
- 25ea 68 Ω
- 25ea 75 Ω
- 25ea 82 Ω
- 25ea 91 Ω
These are largely excess from our production inventory, so it may be a mix of 5% and 1% devices. 5% devices will have a 3 digit code consisting of the first two significant digits followed by a x10 multiplier. 1% devices will have a 4 digit code consisting of three significant digits followed by a x10 multiplier. Example: 10 kΩ = 103 (5%) = 1002 (1%)
