Digital Multimeter with Clamp-On AC Current Probe & Temp Sensor
There are a lot of really cheap, really low quality clamp-on multimeters out there. We know. We've checked most of them out trying to find one worth offering and they are pretty much all the same, likely from the same manufacturer.
While a bit more expensive, this meter was a stand-out from the crowd due to its quality, construction and features and value. We particularly liked the built-in type K thermocouple temperature probe, capable of measuring up to 750C (1400 F). This is capable of reading soldering iron tip temperatures or spot calibrating our reflow oven. None of the other low end meters have this feature. We thought it was a really useful feature for lab and industrial environments.
You can't beat this meter for a true industrial quality tool. The only thing it is really missing is an impact resistant rubber cover. It comes with test leads, thermocouple probe and a very nice nylon zipper case.
